Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturer in Blackburn. As a key member of the Engineering & Manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, working closely with the engineering team to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve targets and improve overall maintenance processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures in the business services sector, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with the Engineering & Manufacturing department manager, providing regular updates on maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • A strong educational background in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the business services sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A working knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
