About Your Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Service Manager to become part of our existing service management team in our Cyber & Intelligence organisation. This role is vital to the support and delivery of existing and future mission critical services for our customers.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incidents and requests to ensure they are handled effectively to minimise negative impact to users and service operations. This includes maximising the number of successful IT changes by ensuring that risks have been properly assessed, authorizing changes to proceed, and managing the change schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incident and request resolution processes
  • Authorise and manage IT changes
  • Maintain accurate and reliable information about the configuration of services
  • Accountable for the design of products and services
  • Identify opportunities for continual service improvements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable track record of Incident, Change and Release management
  • Experience across the service delivery lifecycle, including Service Transition
  • ITIL v3 and v4 Qualifications
  • Extensive experience of IT Service Management Toolsets
  • Experience of supporting IT projects in complex and challenging environments
