This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced manager to join our dynamic team at JD Gyms in Warrington, Cheshire. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering operational excellence.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, demonstrating your ability to take charge and make informed decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, fostering a positive and inclusive club environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a proven track record in a management position within the leisure industry, with a strong understanding of commercial operations and customer service principles.
  • Be a passionate and inspirational leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or higher, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Have experience in driving sales and marketing initiatives, with a focus on delivering results-driven outcomes.
  • Ideally, have experience as an Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager, with a strong understanding of operational excellence and team leadership.
