Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Industry Field Technician to join our RISC team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for carrying out technical activities in relation to proactive works on the wastewater network across the Anglian Water region.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card or equivalent, a National Water Hygiene card, and Confined Space certification. A NRSWA qualification and Manual Handling training are also required. Experience in the water and waste industry is highly desirable.

A competitive salary of £13 per hour, plus benefits, including a pension, healthcare, and holiday allowance starting at 22 days per annum, makes this an attractive opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clearing blockages in transferred and public sewers
  • Serviceability and structural investigations using CCTV equipment
  • Recommendation and installation of level monitors in manholes
  • Identifying and suggesting repairs in line with project objectives
  • Customer interactions on public and private properties
  • Reporting using a number of digital platforms, namely the Network Intelligence tool.
  • Undertake activities in order to minimise disruption to local residents and meet the contract KPIs, as well as meeting client specific requirements.
  • Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Fleet policies, procedures and standards
