Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Teaching Assistant to work with students with Special Educational Needs, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties with associated Challenging Behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students during lesson time and social time
  • Help students with their schoolwork and individual goals
  • Act as a positive role model to students

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position with the option to become permanent at a later date. All pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Protocol Education:

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
