We are currently seeking an experienced Senior P6 Planner to join our team in the Port of Nigg, Scotland. As a Senior P6 Planner, you will play a critical role in our engineering and construction projects in the industrial sector. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project controls and Engineering Value Management ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

As a Senior P6 Planner, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets, tracking expenses, and providing accurate cost forecasts.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for project performance evaluation.
  • Evaluating and managing project changes, including scope changes, schedule adjustments, and cost impact assessments.
  • Cordinating with resource managers to ensure the availability of personnel and equipment as per project requirements.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in project controls within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Knowledge of other project management software and tools.
