Management Accountant

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Falmouth. As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with our experienced Finance Manager to develop your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management accounts to the senior management team.
- Conduct project costings and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage VAT reporting and variance analysis.
- Provide weekly KPI reporting to deadlines.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on ongoing projects.
- Offer financial intelligence to support ongoing projects, financial analysis, and budget/target reporting.
- Commentate on monthly financial reporting pack data for financial and non-financial department leaders.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual budgets.
- Identify areas for improving financial performance across specific business divisions.
- Maintain regular liaison with external accountants and consultants.
This role requires an ambitious candidate with AAT qualifications or equivalent vocational experience. You should possess a good understanding of the accounting lifecycle and excellent IT aptitude.
