Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our Project and Programme Delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting systems on behalf of the team and the wider Business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Configure, maintain, and provide technical support for the Jira and Confluence applications operated by the Business.
  • Jira Project Configurations: Design, develop, and support Jira project configurations to facilitate the changing needs of Business processes.
  • System Maintenance: Support the regular maintenance duties, including operating system and application patching to Project and Programme Delivery departmental environments, against agreed maintenance schedules.
  • Permission Models: Develop and manage permission models, ensuring that access to applications is controlled appropriately.
  • Internal Support: Provide internal support for Business users, responding quickly to questions and issues should they occur.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver real-time reporting using both PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), to management and to end users, utilizing multiple data sources.
  • System Testing: Perform end-to-end system testing as a part of changes or upgrades to systems and applications.
  • Technical Consultations: Provide technical consultations as needed and liaise with other teams within the Technology domain.
  • Process Improvements: Support the Senior Project Systems Administrator in implementing process improvements, assisting in designing platform upgrades and changes to systems as well as functional testing.
