At FPR Group, we are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and potentially transition to a permanent position in the future.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and documentation skills, as well as experience with testing, inspecting, and analyzing mechanical parts. They will also need to be proficient in working with legal warranty documents and using computer software.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Loading and unloading test rigs
  • Liaising with other teams and management members
  • Working from written, drawn, and verbal instructions
  • Utilizing knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and general precision engineering processes
  • Signing off completed work, ready for despatch
  • Using specialist hand and power tools to test, inspect, and alter components
  • Interpreting data feedback from the rig and recording findings

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
