Skilled Careers is looking to speak to skilled professionals with experience working on residential led projects. As a key member of a pre-construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing major residential projects and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to gather all necessary information.

We are offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 + Package for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing project documentation to identify and assess risk levels
  • Tracking budgets related to risk management and remediation
  • Conducting in-depth investigations of projects with potential liability, verifying all relevant details
  • Reviewing documentation to assess if liability is shared with other developer entities or offset by third-party actions and ensuring timely notifications are issued and followed up on
  • Building and sustaining professional relationships with external experts, including fire safety engineers, architects, project managers, cost advisors, contractors, and solicitors, to secure quality advice and ensure the availability of qualified consultants/contractors as needed

You will also develop project plans for individual sites, including timelines and cost assessments, to guide remediation based on fire risk evaluations. Additionally, you may lead the tendering and appointment process for external project managers and cost consultants to oversee and implement remediation plans according to an agreed action strategy. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to define comprehensive employer requirements or design solutions to enable competitive tendering, selecting contractors from a pre-approved list.
