Fostering Recruitment and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fostering Recruitment and Events Officer to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely response to fostering enquiries and home visits to potential fostering households.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill specific responsibilities in relation to foster parent recruitment. This includes undertaking initial home visits, inclusive of health and safety checks, and liaising with the National Recruitment Manager to source potential foster carers for recruitment events.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake all fostering enquiries received via email, telephone, and website.
- Undertake initial home visits, inclusive of health and safety checks.
- Liaise with the National Recruitment Manager to source potential foster carers for recruitment events.
- Attend and assist recruitment events.
- Undertake enquiries from potential fostering households.
- Regular communication and meetings with the Fostering Assessment Manager regarding initial home visits and health and safety.
- Be the link for the fostering households throughout the assessment process, working closely with the Fostering Recruitment Admin.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Competent telephone skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work to deadlines and on occasion under pressure.
- Able to organize work and manage time effectively to see tasks through to completion.
- Able to use initiative and demonstrate professionalism and good customer service.
- Can demonstrate understanding of working with confidential information.
- Ability to process information, with good administration skills.
- Competent use of MS Word and Excel.
