Job Summary

CSG Talent is seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our water quality monitors and gas detectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibration and Repair: Organize and carry out the repair and calibration of monitors, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate levels of repair and calibration materials, tests, gases, and standard solutions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration activities, and maintenance schedules.
  • Documentation: Produce calibration certificates and maintain records and documentation to ISO 17025 standards.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with the sales team to provide information on repair times and work with the workshop team to ensure health and safety requirements are followed.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in calibration and repair of monitors/sensors.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, organized, and able to work towards SLAs and KPI repair times.
  • Qualifications: Electrical qualification, BTEC, or HNC.
