About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Organiser to join our team at Colten Care. As an Activities Organiser, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a variety of activities and events for our residents, including group singing, acting, games, and quizzes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver a range of activities and events for residents, including group singing, acting, games, and quizzes.
- Support work within the community, inviting people to our coffee mornings, fayres, and functions.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to access resources and opportunities for our residents.
- Contribute to the development of our activities program, including planning, budgeting, and evaluating activities.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality activities and events for our residents. You will have a background in theatre, music, or performance, and be confident in front of groups and one-to-one activities. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
