Job Summary:

The Solution Architect is a senior role within the ERP Solutions Practice, responsible for designing and implementing SAP product-based solutions that meet customer needs. You will work closely with programme management and delivery teams to ensure solutions align and integrate within contracted technical specifications and NTT DATA/client IT strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and NTT DATA teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Develop and propose solution architectures to deliver customer requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate integrated workshops with detail and complexity at Director level.
  • Deliver roadmap sessions to customers, ensuring they understand the journey to leveraging value from their SAP solution platform.
  • Identify technologies to employ and architect solution strategies that deliver required customer and prospect outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership and participate in industry forums, conduct roadshows, seminars, and blogs to promote SAP technology and solutions.
  • Act as the design authority on projects and generate consulting revenue from such activities.
  • Be a primary problem solver, focusing on reviewing and defining architectures, working across multiple complex customer projects.
  • Engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments.
  • Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to the end-to-end service offering by NTT DATA.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven technical and solution expertise and experience across multiple relevant SAP software products, including SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules.

Experience with SCM products such as EWM or TM is highly desirable, as is familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions.

Proven track record of delivering customer projects and providing solutions for complex architecture projects.

Experience of contributing to the delivery of a Target Operating Model for definition of future supply chain models aligned to customer needs.

Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to develop relationships with all stakeholders.

Demonstrates gravitas and personal integrity, able to overcome unforeseen situations and keep business objectives in mind.

Has a thirst for learning and staying on top of the evolving technology landscape.

Personal Profile/Experience:

The successful candidate will have at least 15 years' industry experience and a minimum of 6 years of professional experience working within an SAP consulting environment.

Proven experience in solution design and architecture with successful delivery and experience of all elements of at least 8 full project lifecycles.

Minimum of 3 successful, full lifecycle projects as solution architect with a wide scope of software integration solutions.

Should be adept at leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing and maintaining strong business relationships, and managing delivery teams through complex SAP projects.
