Financial Operations Specialist

A highly skilled and driven Financial Operations Specialist is required to join the team at Jobheron, a leading aircraft charter company based in Farnborough. This is a full-time office-based role that offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General accounts administration, including obtaining approval, coding, and posting supplier invoices onto the accounting system.
  • Generating sales invoices from the bespoke client management system and posting to the accounting system.
  • Preparing BACS runs for approval, posting daily bank receipts and payments to the accounting system, processing staff mileage and expenses, and processing company credit card expenses.
  • Bank reconciliation, including multi-currency transactions, and updating daily exchange rates on all systems.
  • Monitoring daily communications and actioning/responding as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and workload prioritization skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced finance department.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Multi-currency experience.
  • Ability to meet Security Clearance requirements.
