Employment and Skills Advisor

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Employment and Skills Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our employment and skills services, working to improve outcomes for unemployed adults and young people not in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide professional careers advice, guidance, and support to both young people and adults.
  2. Develop and deliver employment and skills programmes, including one-on-one coaching and group sessions.
  3. Collaborate with internal services, partners, and employers to enhance the delivery of employment and skills services.
  4. Track and monitor client progress, and manage a caseload to achieve contractual outcomes and KPIs.
  5. Conduct outreach activities in various settings, including schools, colleges, and community venues.

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. Proven experience working with individuals facing complex barriers to employment.
  2. Strong knowledge of local and regional employment initiatives and the labour market.
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  4. Experience in outreach settings and project management.
  5. Relevant Level 4 qualification in Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) or equivalent.
