We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Education Manager to join our team as a Learning Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established trade association membership body, developing and delivering high-quality training programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Training to develop and deliver a comprehensive education programme. This includes designing and implementing a suite of training courses, utilising innovative methods to maximise user experience and enhancing the association's brand and reputation.

This role requires a strong understanding of training and eLearning instructional design principles, as well as experience in creating engaging learning content. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing volunteer committees and working groups, including agenda setting and minute writing.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 20 days' holiday rising to 25 days year-on-year, pension contribution, private health insurance, dental insurance, bi-annual medical check-ups, and an interest-free season ticket loan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic planning: Develop a comprehensive strategy for the training programme, ensuring alignment with the association's goals and objectives.
  • Programme management: Manage the development and delivery of training programmes, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure the success of the training programme, including volunteers, members, and external partners.

The person we are looking for:

Essential qualifications include demonstrable experience working in a senior training role, experience of training and eLearning instructional design principles, and experience of using training software and LMS systems.

Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and experience of working with and managing volunteer committees and working groups.
