Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Iris Care Group. As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership to our multidisciplinary team (MDT) within Beechwood College, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the MDT, ensuring appropriate clinical governance of all clinical activities within the college.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a coherent and evidence-based programme for the delivery of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) interventions by the MDT.
- Ensure that clinical input is integrated with educational delivery and is supportive of identified learning outcomes for young people within the service.
- Provide specialized psychological assessment and therapy to young people and adults with ASC, reflecting relevant knowledge and understanding of Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
- Work autonomously, adhering to The British Psychological Society Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles & Guidelines 2004, and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.

Person Specification- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Specialist post-doctoral training and experience in problems related to individuals with autism spectrum conditions, challenging behaviour, and learning disabilities.
- At least six years of experience working as a qualified psychologist within a clinical speciality, providing significant clinical exposure to individuals with ASC and learning disabilities.
