Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Iris Care Group as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organization that provides specialist mental healthcare services to adults with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) within Beechwood College, ensuring effective clinical governance and high-quality services.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programs for the delivery of psychological interventions, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS).
- Work closely with education staff to integrate clinical input with educational delivery, supporting identified learning outcomes for young people within the service.
- Provide specialized psychological assessment and therapy to young people and adults, reflecting relevant knowledge and understanding of Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
- Offer expert consultation and advice to ICG clinical staff on the management and support of individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition across all ICG sites.
- Contribute to the development of local team policies and procedures, facilitating improvements in service quality.
- Train other professionals and contribute to the training of Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
- Utilize specialized research skills for audit, policy, and service development, and research.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Specialist post-doctoral training and experience in problems related to individuals with autism spectrum conditions, challenging behaviour, and learning disabilities.
- At least six years of experience working as a qualified psychologist within a clinical specialty, providing significant clinical exposure to individuals with autism spectrum conditions and learning disabilities.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across various care settings.
