With a strong understanding of safety engineering principles and experience in product development and delivery lifecycles, you will be responsible for developing efficient yet effective safety arguments for technically complex products.
About You- You hold an Engineering/Systems/Safety degree or equivalent that supports or is working towards IEng status.
- You have a clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principles and knowledge of relevant safety legislation & standards.
In addition to your technical expertise, you possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to work efficiently with project teams, coordinate tasks, and build positive relationships throughout the business and customer communities.
About the JobThis role offers a competitive salary of up to £62,110 dependent on skills and experience, as well as a range of benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to additional perks such as flexible working, an employee assistance programme, Cycle2work, and employee discounts.
As part of our Torpedo Support Product Safety & Environmental team, you will contribute to the assurance cases of a product family, ensuring products are ALARP and compliant with relevant safety policies and standards.
