Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex needs in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including medication management, catheter care, and hoist transfers.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Support clients with social activities, such as appointments and outings.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with clients with complex needs.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and a full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client dignity.
