About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Surgery to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota to manage emergency admissions and cover inpatients out of hours.
  • Take responsibility for ward inpatients and participate in outpatient clinics and theatre lists.
  • Work closely with consultants and other multidisciplinary colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Full GMC registration with Licence to Practice or IELTS Certificate with an overall score of 7 in each domain.
  • MRCS or equivalent.
  • Previous Registrar level experience in paediatric surgery (at least 2 years).
  • Completion of core surgical training or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of research and audit.
