About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Surgery to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic department, providing high-quality care to children with complex surgical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the management of children with specialist paediatric surgical conditions, including neonates.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Full GMC registration with Licence to Practice or IELTS Certificate with an overall score of 7 in each domain.
  • MRCS or equivalent.
  • Previous Registrar level experience in paediatric surgery (at least 2 years).
  • Completion of core surgical training or equivalent.
