Job Overview: As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team. Your focus will be on ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents, with a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding.

Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with all aspects of personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Recognising and escalating clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection.
  • Providing courteous and respectful care to residents and their visitors, upholding their dignity and individuality.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and flexibility. You must also possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. A DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK are mandatory requirements.
