Oxford Instruments Plc is a leading provider of cryogenic instruments and is seeking a highly skilled Physics-Based Installation and Maintenance Professional to join our team. As an Installation and Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of our products at customer sites throughout Europe and other regions.

This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working hours, 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, and a share incentive plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair our cryogenic instruments at customer sites
  • Provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our products
  • Travel extensively throughout Europe and other regions, with some overnight stays and weekend work required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field
  • Experience working with cryogenic instruments, preferably OI instruments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
