Trevett Professional Services is seeking a Senior Technical Services Professional to join their team as a Hospital Static Mechanical Maintenance Expert.



About the Role


This is a permanent position based in the Oxford Area, and the salary for this role is estimated at £46,956 per annum.



Duties



  • Act as the lead technician for the site, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Provide knowledge on mechanical ventilation installation and maintenance, including medical gas and F-gas systems.
  • Deliver one-to-one training to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Complete allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, and refurbishment works across the site.
  • Maintain authorization as an authorized person on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on mechanical ventilation services to plant and equipment across the site.
  • Supervise sub-contractors both in-house and externally, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing support and assistance to the team outside of normal working hours.


Requirements



  • Hold a Level 3 Mechanical discipline qualification or equivalent apprenticeship training to Level 3 standards.
  • Have experience working on hard services, with a strong understanding of mechanical ventilation systems.
  • Be qualified as a Lead Medical Gas AP and possess subject expertise.
  • Prior experience working in a hospital environment, PFI, or healthcare setting is essential.
  • Possess the 18th Edition qualification (desired) and F-Gas qualification (desired).
