Role Overview

A Child Development Specialist is required at Blom and Blom, an independent day nursery in Brighton that boasts an Ofsted outstanding reputation for its childcare provision.

This role presents a unique opportunity to support children's development through safe, stimulating child-centred learning and play.

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners qualification, as well as a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver activities to support and extend children's learning and development outcomes
  • Monitor, assess, and record children's progress, planning next steps to support their development
Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners qualification
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Knowledge of planning, observing, and record-keeping procedures
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
