We're seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Manager for Asset Management to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. This role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to develop and implement a strategic policy and public affairs plan for our Asset Management business.

As a Public Affairs Manager for Asset Management, you'll work closely with the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager to support M&G's response to relevant Government consultations by coordinating submissions, working closely with regulatory and policy experts across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop agile submissions and responses to key moments in the political calendar, including the Budget, King's Speech, Spring Statement, key legislation, and Select Committees.
  • Maintain a drumbeat of thoughtful insights through policy briefs, evidence statements, consultation responses, speeches, blogs, white papers, academic articles, and social media postings.

Requirements:

  • A strong network of peers across the organisation, with a good understanding of the Westminster 'village' and Brussels.
  • A track record of building strong internal and external relationships, plus a solid understanding of how to strengthen them.

What We Offer:
