About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute individual to join our team as a Commercial Planning Business Partner. This is a 6-month fixed-term position that will provide an opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing and Promotions Strategy: Assist in evaluating business-to-business (B2B) pricing strategies and B2B/B2C promotional activities to optimize revenue and profitability aligned with company objectives.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales data across sites and product categories, preparing reports and presenting findings to aid in decision-making for senior leaders.
  • Budget Support: Contribute to the ongoing analysis of sales levers and performance versus targets.
  • Commercial Analytics: Utilize data analysis tools to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Support the product management team in evaluating product performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, marketing, operations, and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial strategies and alignment across all departments.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree with around 3 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial planning, or buying.
  • Highly analytical and commercially astute individual with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Experience working within the hospitality or retail industry is highly desirable.
