Job Opportunity: Child Care Solicitor

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join our team in Oxford. As a Child Care Solicitor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and services to Directorates and Corporate Services.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Drafting documents and legal agreements to ensure policy is formulated and operational decisions are taken on a sound legal basis
* Carrying a caseload of legal work, largely unsupervised, within the Child Care team
* Undertaking legal research and preparing appropriate advice on the results of such research, including advising the council on risk and mitigations

**What We Offer**

* A competitive salary of £41,496 to £44,539 per annum
* Up to 32 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
* Excellent pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 20% of salary
* Family-friendly schemes, including generous maternity, paternity, and support for carers

**Requirements**

* Recent qualification as a Solicitor
* Experience working within Child Care teams
* Strong research and analytical skills
