**Job Title:** Primary School Assistant Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Academic Mentor/Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Graduate Network. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children with Autism and ADHD, providing both 1:1 and small group support in an outstanding primary school in Wolverhampton.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting children in Year 5 by offering tailored 1:1 and small group support to help students with Autism and ADHD build confidence and develop essential skills.
**Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Children with Special Needs:
In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Autism and ADHD, helping them build confidence and develop essential skills. You will also assist with classroom management and utilise effective strategies to support positive behaviour.
**Requirements:
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses previous experience working with children with Autism and/or ADHD. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues are essential. Patience, resilience, and a commitment to supporting children's learning and development are also required.
