About the Role

Vagaro is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our UK team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our customer design team, you will collaborate with Vagaro Pro users and business owners to create effective and unique branding and marketing materials.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and create custom branding for Vagaro customers, ensuring alignment with their business goals and needs.
  • Design and create custom websites, branded apps, and gift cards that reflect the unique identity of each business.
  • Review and ensure consistency of business portfolio images and featured businesses with Vagaro's guidelines.
  • Assist businesses with resizing and uploading Venue Gallery, digital Gift Certificate, and Pay Desk screensaver images.
  • Create and curate a variety of assets and templates for use within the Vagaro Pro software.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and create conceptually driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on digital campaigns, social trends, and industry technology to promote new ways of thinking, working, and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of graphic design experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).
  • Solid understanding of good design principles and photography, including composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Experience with Squarespace, Wix, or other website builders.
  • HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • BA or BFA with concentration in Graphic Design (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a variety of styles and is open to receiving and implementing feedback.
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and prioritize action steps using sound reasoning and judgment.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and inspire with business owners and other designers.
  • Customer service skills and experience as at Vagaro we pride ourselves on delivering 5-star service & support.
  • Highly organized and focused to manage a varied and busy workload.
  • A desire to excel and to share your knowledge with your colleagues.
  • Passion and interest in beauty/salon, well-being or fitness industry would be welcome.
