About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with older adults with cognitive and other mental health difficulties in a ward environment, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention.

Main Duties
  • Work with older adults with cognitive impairment and other mental health difficulties in a ward environment
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention
  • Develop and implement psychologically informed care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of psychological pathways for older people

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology and experience of working with older adults. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
