Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Youth Support Practitioner to join our team in New Brighton. As a Youth Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children in residential care settings.

About the Role
  • Provide day-to-day support to children aged 8-17, helping them grow, learn, and thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children's physical and emotional health, including medical appointments and administering first aid when needed.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, identifying and addressing risks in line with policies.
  • Organise and participate in activities that nurture children's wellbeing, learning, and growth.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent).
  • At least 6 months of experience working in children's residential care with children and young people.
  • A full driving license (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
