Job Purpose

As a Commercial Project Coordinator at ISG, you will play a key role in the implementation of commercial aspects of construction projects. Working closely with surveyors and the site delivery team, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of project management through hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include assisting with procurement, financial, and legal aspects of construction projects, ensuring the transfer of risk from main contracts to subcontracts, and maintaining optimal margins throughout the build process.

Programme Overview

The two-year programme will consist of rotations covering areas such as pre-construction, winning work, planning, design, technical building services, construction management, and commercial management. You will take on real responsibility, working on live projects, learning from experts, and applying your skills to key tasks.

Candidate Profile and Entry Criteria

You will have a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject and a passion for the construction industry. Essential skills include attention to detail, maths skills, good understanding of MS Excel, Word, and ability to learn new software. Personal attributes include ability to work as part of a team, confidence in interacting with stakeholders, desire to learn new processes, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
