We are seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Epsom Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, choosing when you want to work, while still enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.
Key Responsibilities- Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.
- Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
