Consultant in Critical Care Medicine with an interest in Echocardiography
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant in Critical Care Medicine to join our dynamic team. This is a substantive post available now at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
The appointment is on a whole-time/part-time basis, and we welcome applications from those who wish to job share. Candidates are highly recommended to visit the department and hospital and are invited to contact Peyton Davis, Interim Clinical Director of the Critical Care, Anaesthetics, Preoperative Assessment, Pain Management and Resuscitation (CAPR) Directorate, and the Clinical Lead, Dr Elaine Armstrong, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The John Radcliffe Hospital.
Main Duties of the Job
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
The post will suit a highly motivated individual who is, foremost, an excellent clinician trained in general adult intensive care, capable of performing detailed echocardiography and integrating findings into advanced clinical management. They must be a keen educator able to contribute to the established echocardiography fellowship programme. They will work flexibly across both hospital sites as patient need dictates.
