Critical Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant in Critical Care Medicine and Anaesthetics to join our dynamic team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in general adult intensive care and echocardiography, with the ability to integrate findings into advanced clinical management. They will also be a keen educator, able to contribute to our established echocardiography fellowship programme.
The post holder will work flexibly across both hospital sites, liaising with other services including cardiology and cardiothoracic ICU colleagues to ensure patients with complex cardiovascular pathology receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients in Critical Care
- Contribute to the echocardiography fellowship programme
- Liaise with other services to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in clinical research and audit activities
- GMC Registration and full licence to practise
- CCT in intensive care medicine or equivalent
- BSE accreditation
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care
