Production Operative

At The Compleat Food Group, we're seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our savory squad, you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality food products that delight taste buds across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate production lines efficiently to meet daily production targets, following standard operating procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Handle and process raw meats (pork) according to food safety regulations and company protocols, adhering to strict hygiene practices to prevent cross-contamination.
- Work in an environment where flour is present, following proper safety precautions to minimize the risk of allergen contamination and maintain cleanliness.
- Lift and manoeuvre heavy objects such as 25kg pastry pins and other materials as required, following safe lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Perform repetitive tasks as part of the production process, maintaining focus and attention to detail to ensure consistent product quality.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and efficient production flow.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following hygiene protocols, and participating in safety training programs.
- Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends as required.
