Central Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Community Development Coach to join our team. Our service provides a Medium to High Support Scheme for young people in self-contained flats, offering an assessment, support and move on service.

The successful candidate will work 5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a 3-week rota of early (8AM - 4PM) and late (12PM - 8PM) shifts, with the requirement to work 1 weekend out of 3.

The salary for this role is £19.99 per hour, inclusive of £2.61 holiday pay. Temporary cover is required for approximately 4-6 weeks.

  • Develop and deliver one-to-one and group support opportunities to increase resilience in clients.
  • Hold line management responsibility for Progression Coaches and other staff, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
  • Ensure high quality risk and needs assessments, SMART outcomes-based support plans and case files for clients are updated.

To apply for this role, you must have:

  1. Experience working with young people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or have a history of living in care.
  2. Experience of holding a caseload, completing key working sessions, using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
  3. An understanding and commitment to working in an assets-based way.
