Job Title: HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team at KBR, supporting multiple projects under a multi-million-pound infrastructure portfolio in the West of Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems design, installation, and maintenance, with a focus on delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions. They will be responsible for designing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various projects, ensuring their performance and reliability throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and installation of HVAC systems, including ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Conduct site visits to assess and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and installation guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HVAC engineering.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a mechanical or engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in HVAC systems design and installation.
  • Knowledge of current building services engineering codes and standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Security Clearance: You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Location: The role will be based in Glasgow City Centre, with flexibility to work from home occasionally. Site visits may be required, but will be subsidised.
