Job Title: HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team at KBR, supporting multiple projects under a multi-million-pound infrastructure portfolio in the West of Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems design, installation, and maintenance, with a focus on delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions. They will be responsible for designing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various projects, ensuring their performance and reliability throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HVAC systems for industrial and commercial projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with current codes and standards, including British Standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current UK nuclear regulation and relevant good practice.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and bids.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience in HVAC systems design and installation.
  • Knowledge of current codes and standards, including British Standards.
  • Experience working in the UK nuclear industry, particularly in the design and assessment of safety-related structures, systems, and components.
  • SC clearance or eligibility for SC clearance.
