About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Care and Support Specialist to join our Domiciliary Care and Support Team. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to adults in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as medication management, personal care, and household chores.
  • Support service users with their daily routines, including getting up and going to bed, washing, bathing, and dressing.
  • Provide assistance with food and drink preparation, eating, and drinking.
  • Transfer and hoist service users as needed.
  • Assist service users with correspondence, shopping, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and understanding.
  • Previous experience in a caring industry (desirable).
  • Ability to pass a DBS check or be on the DBS update service.
  • Right to work in the UK.
