Job Title: Head of Design

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Design to lead our design team and drive the development of our consumer app fintech products. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the overall design strategy and direction of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of senior designers and design leads to deliver high-quality design solutions across all product areas.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to ensure design solutions meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fintech and consumer app design.
  • Develop and maintain a strong design culture and maturity within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing senior designers and design leads in a fast-paced fintech or consumer app environment.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment, with a strong focus on innovation and experimentation.
  • Experience working in a scaling business, with a strong emphasis on hiring and developing top talent.
