Job Overview

We are seeking an Educational Assistant - Higher Level to provide emotional wellbeing support to secondary aged pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver academic support, pastoral care, and guiding wellbeing programmes in 1:1 pupil sessions and small groups.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice is advantageous.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council for Wales required.
  • A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested.
Working Conditions
  • This is a term-time only position, requiring 32.50 hours per week.
Language

The role demands fluency in Welsh as the primary language of instruction.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
