Job Title: Support Worker - Female Only

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to our customers with varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
  • Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
