The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on a key role in our buying team. As an Apparel Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of seasonal range plans, analyzing customer buying patterns, forecasting sales, and predicting future trends. You will also be working closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure that we have the right products in stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of seasonal range plans, including analyzing customer buying patterns and forecasting sales.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform buying decisions.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure that we get the best deals.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that product ranges are aligned with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of buying initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
