Job Title: Quantitative Trading Lead Engineer

Our Quantitative Fixed Income Engineering team, a part of the Group Strategy Analytics group, is building applications that deliver quantitatively led pricing and trading solutions for the Rates & Credit business. As a Quantitative Trading Lead Engineer, you will work closely with engineers, quants, and traders using modern C++ standards supported by the latest versions of GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) and Clang compilers to deliver high-performance, low-latency trading applications that have a business impact.


Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership to the low-latency engineering team
  • Collaborate with quants and traders on topics that drive the high-performance trading infrastructure forward, including the design of new features and requirements
  • Develop new software to meet desk goals
  • Participate fully in code reviews as both an author and a reviewer
  • Invest in automated testing coverage and test-driven development

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent modern C++, preferably on Unix/Linux
  • High-performance and/or low-latency development experience
  • Experience and understanding of modern patterns for continuous delivery of software
  • Python and shell scripting experience in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Experience of leading small, highly technical teams to deliver complex projects
