Job Description
We are seeking a Community Outreach Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks, including:
  • Supporting individuals in their homes or within the community
  • Providing respite care to carers or increasing social inclusion and life skills

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include:
  • Social inclusion
  • Sourcing activities for individuals to participate in
  • Assistance with employment or education
  • Managing challenging situations and behaviours
  • Writing accurate and factual daily reports
  • Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity
  • Working in a team and on an individual basis
  • Assisting with managing budgets and finances
  • Encouraging independence in everyday tasks such as cleaning, cooking etc
  • Assisting with personal care (dependent on need)

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 months of care experience, preferably with a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle. You must also hold an up-to-date DBS and be willing to travel. Strong self-motivation, responsibility, and ability to work independently are essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Estimated salary: £29,000 - £36,000 per annum.
