About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Health Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting health awareness and preventing illnesses within the prison community.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading on prevention, promotion, and protection of our prison communities.
  • Ensuring effective and consistent delivery of national screening programmes and health checks.
  • Providing health promotion and disease prevention advice for patients.
  • Coordinating all clinical activity in relation to screening and health prevention.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Registered NMC Nurse with a passion for public health and infection prevention and control.
  • Evidence of post-registration CPD and UKPHR registration.
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach.

Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £44,863 to £53,172 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a bespoke induction program and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
